Early March is probably the best time for chasing Aurora in incredible Iceland. Visit the capital of Iceland – Reykjavik, admire the splendid scenery of Nature park Thingvellir, and see the Northern Lights dancing in the skies above “the land of fire and ice”.
We found the most affordable way to spend 3 days in quite expensive Iceland. Book a basic accommodation in nice Fossatun Camping Pods & Cottages. Three different types of heated camping pods are available in the hotel. Guests must bring their own sleeping bags and camping gear, or rent a bed linen package that includes sheets, pillow, duvet and towel. You will also have access to extra convenience, such as a service house with shared bathroom facilities, communal changing rooms and showers, two shared equipped kitchen and dining houses plus outdoor barbecue facilities.
For this trip we suggest you hire a SUV in Keflavik airport.
